Featured at the ROM this June - November 2014, Izzy Camilleri debuts her beautiful and functional clothing for people in wheelchairs.
Izzy has recently launched IZ Adaptive Clothing – the world’s first line of fashionable everyday clothing for seated clientele. The line features both historical, seated fashions taken from 18th-19th century era and revolutionary modern day designs – it is exhibit you do not want to miss.
It is Izzy’s hope that “the exhibit will generate awareness about the obstacles people face when physically challenged, not only with regard to clothing, but also surrounding issues of inclusion, dignity, sense of self and peace of mind.”
