La Belle Époque


The “Belle Époque” was the golden era between the end of the 19th century and the First World War; a time of decadence, elegance and sumptuous luxury, when art pushed boundaries, and the rise of diversions like cabaret and the can-can spoke to the rebellious and freewheeling spirit of the times.
